Exemption heavy vehicles centre of Delft
In de Centre of Delft is a logistic zone. Trucks heavier then 3500 kg are not allowed to drive in to the centre. Do you need to load or unload with a truck in the centre? Then you can get free exemption for the centre.
Request exemption heavy vehicles centre
You can request an exemption for heavy vehicles in the centre online. If you request the exemption, make sure to send a document along where you tell us what the reason and need for the exemption is. As a company you can login online with your username and password. Don’t you have this? Than you can send a request for this data at the contact form. Mention your KvK-number and location number of the company.
Register license plate
Register your license plate when you send a request for exemption of the vehicle. Do you have multiple trucks who need access to the centre? In this case you have to register the license plate of all the trucks. There’s a maximum of five license plates you can register.
Week- or year exemption
You can request an exemption for a week or for a year. An exemption for a year is valid till december 31. With the exemption you will also have permission to drive into the car-free centre. Parking in the logistic zone is not permitted.
De exemption is valid on:
- Monday up to and including Friday between 7.00 and 12.00 in the morning
- Saturday between 7.00 and 11.00 in the morning
- Sunday between 10.00 and 12.00 in the morning
Warningletter or fine
There are consequences when you drive in the centre without exemption for heavy vehicles. The first time you will get a warning letter and the second time you will get a fine. Did you receive a letter or fine and do you have any questions about it? Fill in this contact form.
Can I drive into the area outside the given times?
Through the contact form you can get a customization exemption. This is possible for a maximum of two deliveries per day whom you need a truck heavier than 3500 kg for. The Township takes your request in consideration and you will get an answer as soon as possible.
The costs for this exemption will be €124,20 from 1 january 2019.
